Car- dillo has been deputy DNI for intel- ligence integration since September 2010, when the position was estab- lished. He has also held top posts at the Defense Intelligence Agency. "Tish Long and Robert Cardil- lo both have led the transforma- tion of intelligence to address the complex global strategic challenges we face as a nation, " Undersec- retary of Defense for Intelligence Michael Vickers said in a statement. Hashmi moves into of cial CIO role Sonny Hashmi has been named CIO at the General Services Administra- tion, of cially taking over the spot he has occupied on an acting basis since Casey Coleman left in January. Hashmi came to GSA in 2011 to lead the agency s cloud computing program and was instrumental in the Drive to the Cloud initiative, as well as the consolidation of thou- sands of legacy applications into about 100 cloud-based apps. Swenson promoted to top spot at FirstNet Commerce Secretary Penny Pritz- ker named telecommunications executive Sue Swenson to take over leadership of the First Responder Network Authority s board of direc- tors. She replaces the agency s rst chairman, Sam Ginn, who will remain on the board until his term expires in August. The agency also announced that Acting Deputy Chief Technology Of - cer Jeff Bratcher is joining FirstNet on a permanent basis.
